Hanging with Cooper

I spent Saturday morning hanging out with Cooper, Karen and Jeff. I've done lots of photoshoots with babies lately so it was a nice change to spend some time with a toddler (this little man is definitely not a baby anymore!) Cooper didn't mind the heat and had a great time playing with his trucks in the sand and throwing rocks into the lake (and I stayed cool taking photos knee-deep in Lake Ontario).

Welcome Baby Parker!

Congratulations to Kevin, Janis, Mya and Makayla on the newest addition to the Cochran family! And such a great surprise – a boy! Parker is adorable and was a perfect gentlemen during his photoshoot. He was happy to hang out in his diaper and didn't seem to mind too much as I snapped away.

Rockstar baby!

Finn is just over 12 weeks now and I can't believe how much he has changed since we did his newborn photos. Don't be fooled by the tough guy look, Finn is definitely happiest when cuddling with his mom.

Pretty in pink

We finally got together with friends on the weekend who we hadn't seen in forever! Ehren and Jana just welcomed a beautiful baby girl into their family so we used the opportunity to get some photos. Big brother Austen was happy to give his new sister kisses but otherwise was not particularly interested in the camera, but baby Adysen slept blissfully so I could snap away.

Baby Brayden!

All last week the weather network predicted rain for the weekend. So I was very relieved and excited to have a beautiful day yesterday so I could take some photos of the Walker family's newest member, our nephew Brayden. At just 5 days old, Brayden was a dream to work with and I'm looking forward to taking photos of the whole family once things have settled down.

14 + fabulous

Oh to be a pre-teen again! Lara is not actually 14 yet, but will be celebrating her birthday as well as her grade 8 graduation this month. I can definitely remember the bittersweet excitement of leaving behind elementary school and preparing for the next big step in life... highschool! To capture this exciting time, we met on Sunday morning and had a great time getting some photos of Lara in her grad dress, as well as some more casual shots in her backyard.

The waiting game...

Who would have thought we'd have a heat wave in May!?! I met with this "easy on the eyes" family two weekends ago (as my sister-in-law would say), and they were definitely troopers hanging out in the sun (especially the gorgeous mama who was about a week away from her due date). Luckily there was a nice trail nearby and we escaped to the shade. A new baby girl is expected to arrive any day now...

Welcome Baby Finn!

I'm really behind on my blog posts!

My sister finally gave birth to the sweetest little boy in early April, and we were able to get these pics just a few days later. Finn hates to be naked so it took quite a while for me to be able to peel away his blanket to get some shots in his diaper. Nearly two months later, life is becoming normal again and my sister and her husband have adjusted to being parents of three!
